NETWORK MEETINGS

Every two months, we bring together changemakers from across Birmingham for a few hours of connection, reimagination, reflection, and action.

These meetings are a space to share what's happening on the ground — from grassroots projects to city wide campaigns — and to learn from each other's lived experiences. We reflect on the injustices shaping our communities, explore how they connect, and imagine what needs to change.

Whether you come as an individual, part of a group, or an organisation, it's a chance to build relationships, strengthen the movement, and shape a shared vision for economic justice in Birmingham.

Upcoming meeting

We will be hosting a special event bringing all the Economic Justice Brum huddles together, to harvest, share and spread learning and action. The event will be take place between 10am and 3pm at The Signing Tree, 100 Ladywood Rd, B16 8SZ. More details to come soon.

Who can join?

Everyone has a role to play in changing Birmingham's economy. Whether you're just starting to question the way things are, or you've been organising for years — you're welcome to join us.

This network is for anyone who wants to see a fairer, more just Birmingham. From parents to key workers and community leaders, from those hit hardest by injustice to those ready to stand in solidarity — we need all of us.

No special knowledge or background required — just a commitment to change and a belief that a better future is possible.

For more information, sign up to our mailing list and you will be sent more information.

Vesna (ACH)

  • There have been lots of interesting learnings and great speakers. A chance to link with people and organisations you may not have worked together with to create impact.

Hameed

  • What I’ve liked about EJB is that it brings people who are like-minded together and want to create economic justice in the city and Birmingham to be a fairer place for all. It has given me a lot of knowledge, skills and confidence to confidently talk about economic justice. It has given me a platform and networks to move forward with my approach to economic justice.

Charlie

  • It feels good to be part of something productive and organised. There is hope in this space which is something the city needs. It is good to be working with people who are all committed to meaningful change.

Charmaine

  • EJB  is a fantastic initiative and the way it is conducted is unique. I enjoy every meeting and learn so much as well as meet new people. The space and atmosphere allows you to be authentic yourself.
